I am very sorry for not getting back to you. I had tried to call you several times last week but the calls won’t go through. I believe it is what you said, about the 'third world' not having the technology for such things. Perhaps it has something to do with our country being at war with the Iraqi's?

Took the family to Arizona this weekend for some ostrich hunting. Have you ever been Ostrich hunting? It is quite fun, I can assure you ol' boy! They are a might bit tasty too, ol' sport.

Say old chap, I am an avid bird watcher and sophisticated connoisseur of bird recipes; can you please tell me whether Africa has crows or very large canaries that are available for photographing and eating? It is absolutely wonderful to eat crow. You should try it some time.

I am a very busy old bug old boy and haven't much time for dealing with the phone company. My family and my bird watching / eating habit take up quite a deal of my time. Perhaps we can expedite our transaction in this format?

YeS, there are lots of canaries here for viewing and photographying but i have never eaten any in my whole life.

I will call you at least by ten o'clock morning your time so that i let you know the formalities that will follow.

Subject My assistance / helping you

Yes old boy, you are quite correct. I did agree to help you get Mr. David Chen's $20,120,000.00 out of Africa to avoid having it fall into the wrong hands. I am still more than happy to help you old chap and I am sorry you feel we have wasted time. It is just that I am so busy with my family and my bird hobby, but I am willing to move forward and make some time to help you.

I have reviewed your original proposal to me (attached), and in it your refer to 'my share'. You however have failed to mention what my share / percentage will be for my assistance. Kindly fill me in sir.

I would welcome the opportunity for a trip to Nigeria and West Africa. As I have mentioned to you I am an avid bird watcher and connoisseur of bird recipes. A trip to Africa would allow me to both help you as well as indulge in my little hobby. Perhaps you can tell me where in West Africa I can find the African Grey Parrot and the African Green Broadbill. I have attached their pictures as you may have seen them locally. For these birds I will need to purchase a daisy BB gun, a net, and a new skillet so I can indulge in my bird eating hobby after I photograph them.

If there are no Grey Parrots or Green Broadbills in your area, please let me know where I might find them. In that way I can take care of business with you in Nigeria as well as get in a little sport hunting on the side old boy! Please look at the photos and tell me where I may find these two game birds. Looking forward to business old fellow!

Please let me know of how soon you can come.

About your share of this transaction............i do hope that 15% will be okay for you??

There are lots of species of birds down here in Africa. My neighbour has this particular parrot you are talking about.

I can send it to you through special arrangments if you are really keen on having it. When you come to Nigeria, am sure you will not be ready to go back to your country[u.s] again because of your love for birds.Just let me know if you want me to send you any type of bird so that i make all the necessat arrangements.

Please also let me know know of how soon you can come down to Nigeria becsuae we have to make hay while the sun shines.

James,

Yes, 15% sounds good to me. I believe that would be $3,018,000 for me, and $17,102,000 for you. Three million American dollars sounds like a nice fee for a small amount of work on my part. Thank you for your generosity. These excess monies in my budget will allow me to pursue my much loved past time of bird photography, hunting and eating.

Thanks for the offer to send the parrot and or other birds to me old boy. That will not be necessary as it would not be worth the trouble. I will have plenty of opportunity to do some poaching on one of your wonderful game preserves when I visit your wonderful country!

This morning I am traveling to Florida to stalk some storks and will return early Friday morning. At that time I will investigate airfare to your country. In the mean time, please let me know what city you would like to meet at so I can investigate the appropriate travel plans.

"Make hay while the sunshines" old boy, and happy hunting to you and yours!

Greetings The Kirk Family,

I am very happy about your wife's assurances of the safety of our funds and the smooth running of this transaction.

I can't wait too to meet with all of you in my country, nigeria.

Like i told you before now, i have been in contact with a reputable financial lawyer who will take care of all the documentations such as .........swearing of affidavit and signing all the necessary papers.

He advised that you will need to open an account in the bank here so as to enable you transfer the funds directly to your overseas account. This is so because the funds will be moved from Mr Chen's account to your account in the same bank.

I advise that you come with about $8,500 u.s dollars to enable you open the account and to arrange for the lawyer's services and the high court sworn affidavit. Please know also that it will be very wise of you to come down with some special gift items for the senior bank officials to pacify them to help you move this funds smoothly and quickly.

Please advice me again on your flight details as finally concluded so as to enable me know when to be at the airport to wait and receive you and your family.

Best Regards,

Subject Unfortunate occurance.....

James,

My apologies for not keeping you in the loop. On Wednesday my wife's Mother had an alergic reaction and was rushed to the hospital. She was admitted and the doctor's have been monitoring her condition very closely. At this point the doctor's have said it was food poisoning due to some bad Puffer fish that she had the the local sushi restaurant. She is still in the hospital and my wife and son are there with her.

As you can imagine my wife does not wish to leave her Mother in this condition. My wife has asked me to postpone our trip until next weekend. I mentioned to my wife that I could proceed to Nigeria and take care of our business with Mr. Akintola. This did not sit very well with her and she got very mad and hostile with me. You know how women are and I do not wish to further upset her.

I have contacted the airlines and they said it will cost me $375 to alter our intinerary. This is a minor inconveniece to me, what is more important is making my wife happy. Unfortunately I will have to put off the trip until next weekend.

You mentioned $8500.00 to open a bank account. Here in the states we can open an account for as little as $100.00 Did you mean $8500 American or $8500 Nigerian?

Also, what kind of gifts should I bring to pasify your senior banking officials?

Again, my apologies for the delay. If only the mother in law hadn't eaten that bad puffer fish. I told her she should eat more wild birds like the wife and I do. Let me know if next weekend would be okay and I will re-schedule with the British Airways.

Subject Act Fast today.

Dear James,

I am sorry to hear about what happened to your mother in-law. I do hope she get's better in this ealiest possible time. Please stay with your wife now she's going through some trouble because of her mother. Make her happy because now is the time she needs you most...........................HEALTH IS WEALTH.

Your not coming to Nigeria today makes me feel real bad because everything has been arranged here already and you are suppose have a private meeting with the senior bank officials tommorow evening but all the same i know the circumstances you are going through at home.

Please note that the money that's being asked by the lawyer's $8,500 u.s dollars[eight thousand , five hundred american dollars]. This said amount is not just for opening of account alone. Part of this money is for doing some important documentations, swearing of oath of affidavit at the federal high court here, signing and paying of some documents and also to pay for the services of the lawyer that's going to assist us in carrying out all the legal processes without any hitche.

I advice you come to Nigeria with gifts like Computer laptops and very good wrist watches. They are just three senior bank officials and they were hoping to meet with you by tommorow evening[an arragement by the lawyer]. So you can come with three computer laptops and three gold wrist watches. I know you can buy your way through at the bank when you present this aforementioned items to them.In Nigeria people love when they are being recognised. Giving these presents, shows you recognise their importance and they can go at any lenght to assist you.

Your coming to Nigeria next weekend is okay by me but there are some delays, Since you are nolonger coming to Nigeria today, i will prefer you send some money today so that i can meet with the attorney and explain issues to him because he thought you will be on your way today[ofourse that was what i told him before until i saw this your last mail]. Do send some money today through western union money transfer so that i can give it to the lawyer and he starts working on some documents. It will be wise for the lawyer to start working before you come down next weekend. It will quicken everything. I do hope you understand me?????

Send the western union money transfer with the information of my personal assistance...............

MR VICTOR OMOFUWA

20, BANK ANTHONY WAY, IKEJA .

LAGOS , NIGERIA.

Identification.......................ECOWAS PASSPORT.

Text Question.................What's my name

Answer............... James.

When asked at western union money transfer who you sending money to, just tell them you are sending your friend money so that he can buy some African Sourveniers and send to you through courrier. I am letting you know this because of the war situation between Iraq and U.S and because of this Anti terrorist campaign.I don't want them to think maybe you are in sopport of terrorism.

After Sending the money, do scan and send me the information through email.

Hope to hear from you today.

James,

I do not have much time here. I have only come online briefly to inform you of some unfortunate news. Sadly, my wife's Mother passed away due to her ingestion of the tainted Puffer fish. As you can imagine, my wife and I are in a utter state of shock. This is the last thing that we could have expected.

I have had my wife sedated as it appears she cannot deal with this unfortunate turn of events. I must make funeral arrangements and persue legal ramifications against the restaurant and possibly the hospital.

I will contact you in a few days when I am more able....

James,

I have just checked my email today, have not been online since Tuesday. My mother in Law's funeral is tommorrow. I am persuing legal action against the restaurant and hospital for their failure regarding the nasty puffer fish. This has kept me very busy. I will look at the airlines and see if I can make it over there by next weekend or perhaps the weekend after that.

James,

Well, the Mother-in-law's funeral is a wrap, my lawyer tells me he can follow up on things while I am out of town. I have ordered the three laptops you requested, they are being shipped to me this week. Here is what I purchased, hope they meet your approval. http://gateway.com/home/prod/hm_600x_proddetail.shtml

Also I shopped for the watches you requested and have ordered them from the local Rolex dealer, I should have them by Friday. You requested Gold, so I bought three Gold ones. I thought I should buy three different kinds but for the sake of time I bought three Gold ones. I hope your banking officials aren't upset that they will all have the same watch. I have attached a picture of the one I purchased, hope it meets your approval old boy.

I will look into airline arrangements now and hope to see you soon.

James,

So your mother-in-law finally gave up the ghost just after eating just fish??? What about the place she bought the fish from??? Have you told the people about this??? because they can't continue going on selling bad fish to different people if eating fish is really the cause of her food poisoning and death. I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT HER DEATH AND I HOPE YOUR WIFE RECOVERS SOON FROM THIS GREAT SHOCK AND LOSS TO THE FAMILY.

I have seen the wristwatch and loptop from the website, they are very okay for the officials and they won't be angry to have the same type of watches atleast they won't wear it the same day.

When are you coming down???? We have been worried about you but little did we know you lost somebody special to you.

Please use the information i sent to you last time to send about $2,000 u.s dollars down via western union money transfer ,so that the attorney can put everything in place before your coming down.

Hope to hear from you soonest.............and please tell me about your new flight schedule.

Once again, take heart about the loss of your mother-in-law.

My regards to your family..............how is your baby??? hope fine.

Stay blessed.

I got all your messages straight and trust me that i won't say a word to your wife about how you feel towards her mum.

I am still expecting the $2,000 u.s dollars i said you should send via western union money transfer so that the attorney can begin work but you are not talking towards that aspect and you know time is not on our side. I don't want to consider you not fit for this transaction because you are slowing things down, i swear.

Send the money today so that everything can be put in place before you and your family come down.

Meanwhile, i will inquire of where you can get a BB gun later today but just do what i say about the money because my partners here are asking me if i am sure you are serious with this whole transaction and not fooling us by saying you are coming becuase time is not our friend in this transaction and they are getting worried. I keep assuring them that everything is okay with with and i told them about your wife's mum but please do something about the money today.

James,

What partners are you refering to?; I thought I was your partner in this transaction?

I didn't realize you were in such a hurry. As myself, the wife and child will be in Africa for a week and a half I figured we could take care of all this business then.

The purchase of the three gold Rolex watches and the three laptops as well as my Mother in Laws's funeral have tapped my cash resources. I had been meaning to sell a $20,000 Certificate of Deposit (CD) next week to cover my Africa trip expenses. As we are not leaving until next Friday night I figured cashing it next week would be fine.

I would expedite this for you today but it is Friday and it is after banking hours. Therefore this will have to wait until Monday. You mentioned Western Union but I don't recall you ever giving me the location, phone number, etc. Please resend the pertinent Western Union info and I will take care of this as soon as I cash the CD.

Did you find a place where I can get a good BB gun? Please let me know what game preserves are in your local area. Also, please see if you can hook me up with some local poachers for a gaming expediton. Thanks!

I'm sure you just had a small typo error in your last email, you said you were going to put [JAMES T. DIRKS] on the placard. If you do I may not recognize it ol boy! If you had put that on the placard I'm sure I would have recognized it and we all would have had a good laugh afterwards!

Subject Good & Bad.....

James,

Which do you prefer first, good or bad? I prefer the good so let me start with that.

The three laptops arrived today via Federal Express. In hindsight I'm thinking I should have had them shipped directly to you, as now I will have to carry them with us on the flight Saturday. They will take up a considerable amount of my luggage space, I'm going to have to call the airlines and see what their luggage limits are. I may just have to buy a bunch of clothes over there in Lagos.

I went to the jeweler and picked up the three gold watches. They are very nice, makes me wish I ordered one for myself. I believe your banking officials will be very happy, after all they are Rolex, but of course in good taste I shant mention their price.

My next stop after the jeweler was my bank. My bank is actually a 'Credit Union'. They had a note posted on their door saying 'closed due to Easter Holiday'. I always thought the holiday was on Friday, but like I said they are a credit union, different rules apply. I know you are anxious to put the lawyer to work on the documents, so I will go back over there first thing in the morning tomorrow (Tues.)

One thing puzzles me though....Here in the States the lawyers get paid when they finish the job. Why does your lawyer want payment up front?

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend.

Dear James,
It's important you come with the three laptop, so make a space for them in your luggage.

Ofcourse you can buy enough clothes here when you arrive but can as well come with some few once so that you can create space for the laptops.
Very good to hear you have picked up the rolex.

Did you get anything for me? because i have been arranging some african gifts for you as well.

Concerning the lawyer, actually they like actions in the sence that giving them money motivates them to work for you and more also, the laWyer will need some money to swear an oath of affidavit and statutorial deed fee at the federal high court which enpowers you as the full beneficiary of the $20.120m in the account. Infact all papers will be in place before your coming down instead of waiting for it when you come since your arrival is going to be on weekend...............................everything has to be on deck.

Hope to hear from you later today.

Subject: Accommodations, modalities, etc.

James my friend,

Sorry to hear you got locked out of your account. I'm sure it's just temporary and as soon as the session times out it will let you back in.

You had to go and ruin the surprise? Of course I have something for you my friend! I wouldn't come empty handed, that would be tacky and rude. Especially since you have selected me to help you with this transaction. I help you profit and you give me a little cut of the pie. I am so happy that you have selected me to help you with this, you could have asked anyone and you chose me. You need not go out of your way with gifts for me, I am very modest. What you could do would be to send some flowers and a bottle of champagne to our hotel room, Judy would be most appreciate, you know how women are....

Speaking of accomodations, will you be making the reservations or shall I? It would be most helpful if you could, or if you can recommend a hotel I can make reservations on-line.

I went to see my lawyer today about our suit against the sushi restaurant and hospital over my Mother in Law's untimely passing. While I was there I asked him about lawyer's fees and when they should be paid. He wanted to know why I would ask such a question, so I told him. He said he would like to review your documents and that I should fax them to him from Nigeria. He has instructed me to withhold payment until he has approved the documents. He is my lawyer and as such I should follow his advice. I do not wish to create any ill will or mistrust between you and I, but my lawyer is a very respectful man and I do not wish to lose face with him. I pay him good money for his advice, and if I do not follow it he will wonder why I have retained him. I hope you will understand and when our transaction is all said and done it will be like water under the bridge. We will have all week to take care of business, so not to worry.

I went to the credit union and cashed the CD. I had my banker look up banks in Nigeria and they recommended Afribank Nigeria. We set up an account and wired $15,000. I will be bringing the other $5,000 for spending money. The money is in Afribank 51-55 Broad Street, Lagos. We can go there and get the money when my lawyer has approved the documents.

I have checked with the airlines and they will allow two large bags per person. Between the wife and I and our son we can bring six bags, so we will not have a problem. I do look forward to buying some of your local clothes though, I'm sure they are quite colorful.

Looking forward to this weekend, our transaction and some wonderful game hunting & bird watching...

Your friend,

- James T. Kirk –

James,

I just hope i will be back into my mail account again because i have alot of mails there from friends and relatives but meanwhile all correspondences should be passed to me in this mail address. For now, disregard any mail from the other email address.

Ofcourse a bottle a champagne sounds nice of which i will do but you must get something african from me to let you know you were here.

Don't bother yourself about accomodation, i will make reservation for that before today runs out. What are we partners for if i can't reserve an accomodation for you in my country???? Count on me.

James, you should know am not joking here asking you to send money for the lawyer to work with. You should also know that the system in u.s is different from that of nigeria and i am your inside man here, so why would i be telling you what's not?

You said your lawyer asked you to fax him the documents from nigeria before you pay for his[ nigerian lawyer] services, where would he get the money to obtain all the documents he will prepare for the transaction??? This is the essence of me asking you to send him the money and i do hope you understand what i am talking about here.

It's true we have a whole week to work out this transaction but don't you think it will be very helpful if we spent about two to three days for this transaction and the rest for your hunting etc..........after the lawyer may have gotten everything in place before you come? If you deem it fit for the lawyer to start work after your arrival, well it's ok.

It's good to hear that the airline can accomodate all that you are coming with and also you have wired some money down here via afribank.

Hope to hear from you later in the day.

Subject  My story...???

Mr. Nigerian Scammer,

CHECK MATE! It is my complete and sincere pleasure to have EMBARRASSED you!!! That was the plan from day one. I'm happy it was the most embarrassing moment of your life.

At the appointed hour I looked at the clock with thoughts of you standing there at the airport with that ridiculous sign reading 'James T. Kirk'. I am pleased to inform you that I had a very good chuckle. I can only hope you came dressed in yellow as I requested, and that you brought several of your fellow scammer friends along. I like the fact that you checked the manifest but can only hope that you paged "Mr. James T. Kirk" over the intercom first. You are correct, "I did not FLY".

What is it with you Nigerians anyway, trying to scam everbody with your $20 million dollar stories? I can't tell you how many emails I get with offers just like yours. Most offer more like 30%, so I must tell you I find you to be very cheap! Anyway, 30% of zero is still zero.

I know how this works, you get me over there, then tell me you need more money for this, and more money for that..etc. Do you think we Americans are stupid?

You have the pleasure of being the THIRD scammer I have burned. Yes, the others have gone to the airport as well. Pretty funny, no?

Thats right James..no gold Rolex watches, no laptops, and no $8500 through Western Union for your ridiculous faked 'papers'.

What a wonderful game this has been! You bought the story about me photographing birds, then shooting them with BB guns and eating them, poaching in your game parks, and the best one, my mother in law dieing from eating a poisoned puffer fish. HA HA! I can only hope that you put down some money on that hotel room 'by the sea'.

By the way, "James T. Kirk" is not my real name, he is a fictitious character played by William Shatner in the 1960's TV series 'Star Trek'. I'm surprised you did not recognize the photo I sent you, but that makes it all the more funny because it shows what a bunch of backwoods morons you Nigerians are!

Thanks for playing such a good game #3, I shall now turn my attentions to #4, as I said I have plenty of those emails to play along with. I especially like the ones about the Nigerian Oil Company funds that need to be run through the laundry. You guys should quit the one about so and so 'Mr. Chen' being killed in an auto accident, that one is getting quite old.

Get a real job and stop trying to scam people out of their hard earned money. There are others like me who play along with you morons, perhaps you will get to play again?

Do reference section "419" of the Nigerian penal code, it may catch up to you one day.

Good Ridance, Beetle Breath!

Scammer Note: Now look at this moron. I played him for two months as David Lee Roth and convinced him his $20,000,000 actually made it into my account. Then I've given him the silent treatment for the last two weeks...
He's threatening suicide. HA HA!
